Archespheres introduction
Reimagining Archetypes Through Relationship
Everything is in relationship. Even archetypes. Join us as we co-create a new language of connection.

A Living Oracle in the Making
Hi everyone, and welcome to Archespheres!
I’m Jenna, and you might know me from Spirit Connections here on Substack. If you’ve been following my work, you know I’m all about archetypes—they’ve been my companions, my teachers, and my way of understanding the world.
But lately, something started to shift.
What I’ve felt in my body—and what my guides keep telling me—is that we’re collectively moving toward a more relational way of being. And the traditional archetypes, as I’ve known and loved them, began to feel a little too distinct. Too defined. Too separate.
And if there’s one thing I know deep in my bones, it’s that nothing in this world exists in isolation. Everything is in relationship.
And so the idea of Archespheres was born.

Meet Bertus—My Creative Partner in This Journey
I’d love for you to meet Bertus— a visual storyteller with a mind like a map, always drawing new connections. A creative magician, all-around incredible human and my partner in this creation.
Bertus and I met right here on Substack. I was instantly smitten with his words and art.
One day, he commented on one of my posts: ‘Ever think about making your own deck?’
I answered: ‘Definitely. But I’d need to partner with a visual artist. Know anyone? 😉’
And just like that, something began.
That playful exchange was the seed of a beautiful friendship—one grounded in shared values of relationality and wonder. What’s been especially magical is how the deck itself has shaped our friendship just as much as we’ve shaped the deck. While we’ve explored these energies together, we’ve found ourselves deepening into a warm, collaborative rhythm. It’s a fractal of what Archespheres is all about: the way connection transforms us, the way new things are born in dialogue.
It was through Bertus’ brilliant imagination that the term Archespheres emerged.
What Is an Archesphere?
Archespheres reimagine archetypes not as fixed identities, but as relational energies—alive, fluid, and shaped by attention and context.
Rather than naming the face, we explore the energy of the experience.
This deck lives in the wave instead of the particle.
An Invitation to Co-Create
We’re building this deck in full view, sharing our process as it unfolds. We want this to be a space where you don’t just observe, but engage. A space to bring your insights, your stories, your curiosity. Together, we’re co-creating a living oracle.

What You’ll Find Here
This space is a living workshop. A braid in the making. Here’s what we’re sharing:
✨ Behind-the-scenes carving videos from Bertus
✨ My reflections on the meaning of each archesphere
✨ Explorations of how to use the cards — for divination, contemplation, and conversation
✨ Invitations to co-create and shape the deck together
✨ Early updates on our future Kickstarter and print launch
A First Taste: The Relationship Archesphere
Since this whole project is about connection, we thought we’d start by introducing you to the Relationship archesphere. Some of the archetype faces you might have known this archesphere through are The Friend or The Partner.
Feel welcome to just sit with the image above and see what it awakens. Let your body and intuition speak. Meaning doesn’t need to be immediate or obvious, it unfolds in its own time. And we’d LOVE to hear what initial stirrings arise in you as you sit with Relationship.
Thank You for Being Here
We’re so grateful you’re here at the beginning of this journey. Archespheres is a living, breathing creation, and your presence, insights, and energy are part of what brings it to life.
If this project resonates with you, we’d love for you to subscribe, share it with kindred spirits, and join the unfolding. Whether you engage quietly or loudly, your presence matters.
Let’s bring in a more relational way of being.
Let’s make this oracle together.
With so much love,
Jenna & Bertus
Want to Get to Know Us a Little More?
Since Archespheres is all about connection, we wanted to share a post from each of our other spaces—something to give you a deeper sense of who we are and what we carry into this project.
From Bertus: The Earth Sings with Many Voices — a quiet, poetic reflection on the voices of the land and the wisdom found in listening.
From Jenna: Revisiting Comfort — a tender meditation on softness, safety, and the sacred roots of comfort.

YES! YES! YES! I've been feeling the same way about Archetypes trying to put them into own practice. Merging some and deleting others. There are so many in the Cosmos and we simply have to find them! YAY! Very Excited!
Initial thoughts are a recognition of the truth of the image, that as human beings we are designed to connect and thereby have an opportunity to learn the lessons we chose. The attempts to connect and connections made are coloured by our conditioning, current wellness, openness, mental state, communication style and ability and the impact of the other who is operating according to their own factors. The result can be heaven or hell and everything between.
